Sunrise proposals

Q: What is included in a sunrise proposal?

Pre-dawn arrival at a private airport, a private early-morning flight, your choice of proposal timing, a reception prepared by our ground crew, and personalised planning and coordination. Aerial and ground photography and film are available as an upgrade.

Q: What will we see from the air?

The sunrise over your city, coastline or landscape. Routes depend on location, weather, airspace and operational approval, so no particular view can be guaranteed.

Q: Where are sunrise proposals available?

Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Darwin.

Q: Should we choose sunrise or sunset?

It depends on your partner, the atmosphere you want, your location and the time of day. Sunrise suits a calm, private start to the day, while sunset offers golden-hour light. Alexander is happy to help you compare.

Q: Can it stay a surprise?

Yes. We'll help you create a believable reason for the flight and keep the arrival, filming and ground arrangements discreet.

Q: Can the proposal be filmed?

Yes, with our photography and film upgrade. Our aviation photographer and Alexander capture aerial and ground footage discreetly, with drone footage where permitted.

Q: Who operates the flight?

Flights are operated by fully licensed, CASA-approved AOC holders. The pilot and operator are responsible for flight operations and safety.

Q: What happens if the weather isn't suitable?

Safety always comes first. If conditions aren't right, we'll work through your options under the booking terms and operator requirements.

Q: How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can. It gives us the most flexibility, and lead times vary.

Every detail is designed with Alexander, a commercial pilot, who takes the time to learn about your relationship and what your partner would love. You don't need a complete plan to begin.

Arrive before dawn

Meet us at a private airport while the city is still quiet. Your arrival time, meeting point and instructions are confirmed in advance, and discreet guidance keeps the surprise intact.

Take flight at first light

After your pre-flight safety briefing, you'll board a private early-morning flight and watch the sun rise over the city, coastline or landscape below.

The moment

Ask the question before boarding, in the air or once you're back on the ground. The timing is agreed beforehand, so it feels natural rather than rehearsed.

Your reception

Return to a reception prepared by our ground crew, with time to celebrate and take photographs without rushing.
